Tobias 'Toby' Gorn – Co-founder and Senior Partner – International Drinks Specialists - Editor-in-Chief of World Whisky & More Tobias 'Toby' Gorn is an award-winning international wine, spirit and cigar specialist writer with several columns in print and online. Toby also one of the busiest drinks competition judges Worldwide and co-founder of the award winning International Drinks Specialists – a consultancy service with a global reach – with a group of top industry specialist working together in order to assist producers and brand owners. As a Scotch Malt Whisky Society veteran and ex-head sommelier and buyer for Michelin star rewarded establishments, he gained a good understanding of the industry. Over the last two decades Toby has dedicated his main attention to spirits, wines, exciting liqueurs and cigars. He enjoys judging for most of the main drinks competitions and is a panel chair judge with many. He is also an enthusiastic clay pigeon shooter, official shooting coach. Toby is member of the advisory board of the Council of Whiskey Masters, The Gin Guild and the Circle of Wine Writers. The is also a drinks trainer and educator.
